When Glenn Duff left the Department of Animal Science to be be Department Head at Montana State, the faculty asked me to make a banner using more "light" hearted pictures and sayings.

When our friend, Bob Kattnig, retired from the University of Arizona Department of Animal Sciences, I made this banner to highlight his career.

Road Worthy Banner

Road worthy - The banner I made for Tom of Seasonal Fresh, bounced out of the back of his truck last week while driving on I10. I'm not sure if he or I was more disappointed when I visited his booth at St Philips Market and there was no banner.

On the drive back to his home in Chandler, he found it!!! It had been run over and was dirty. One spin through the washer, and viola! Looks like new, except for the small tire track below the fruit. The embroidery didn't rip either!

Embroidered Wedding Quilt

My customer, Renee, picked out the fabric and pattern for a wedding quilt for her sister. Renee collected sayings, art work and good wishes from family and friends. I embroidered the messages onto a 6 by 6 inch square and incorporated them into the design.
